da Las Vegas filtrano le novità Leica:
- forse nuova M con sensore full frame e nuovo otturatore;
- sicuramente R-10 digitale autofocus, con una nuova serie di ottiche, che dovrebbero essere derivate dalle classiche R, ma con innesto di diverso diametro;
- nuovi press agent che non sanno niente della marca, ed ignorano anche le cose più recenti, es. la M-6 è già considerata oggetto di modernariato (forse anche di antiquariato...)
- comunque un marchio che cerca di riposizionarsi in base ai tempi, magari con qualche ritardo e con prezzi....molto Leica!!

Gia' poco elegante l'upgrade a pagamento per l'm8 per riportare il rumore "forse" nella norma, sul cambio di baionetta della serie R non mi pronuncio per non essere volgare.

purtroppo pare quasi un vezzo modaiolo, non dico confondere una IIIg con una IIf, ma avere le idee giustamente confuse tra una MDa e una Leicaflex SL: tra i venditori Leica sembra quasi un fastidio e non un dovere conoscere la storia del marchio, comunque quando parlo con i venditori Nikon e Canon mi faccio sempre un paio di risate (di nascosto): per loro la storia Canon, ad es, inizia con la EOS, il resto è roba per iniziati, e pensare che il sito Canon da grande risalto (giustamente) al percorso della casa, certo dimenticarsi della propria storia fa tristezza, (per loro...) ma quello che conta per gli importatori è solo il presente

il cambio della baionetta per la nuova serie di ottiche reflex è OBBLIGATORIO se Leica vuole ancora occupare questa nicchia: ricordiamoci che Minolta e Canon lo effettuarono obbligatoriamente e che per Nikon ci sono stati diversi problemi da risolvere per mantenere lo stesso innesto, con ritardi notevoli nelle ottiche con motore interno che hanno compromesso la vendibilità del nuovo sistema autofocus. Occorre anche considerare che Leica DEVE presentare qualcosa di nuovo se vuole sopravvivere, se non altro per fare parlare di sé; se no, tutti a comprare le ottiche per Leicaflex......

An upgrade certificate will be available for M8 owners fom March 2008 on the Leica website. These certificates will be uniquely numbered and used to schedule the timing of your upgrade on a first come first served basis from August 2008 on. All M8 ever built are suitable for this upgrade. We will take care about collecting the cameras and will also inspect and adjust all camera functions when carrying out the update, As a consequence, each LEICA M8 is given a two-years warranty after the upgrade as if for a brand new camera. Certo Pierpaolo, ironizzavo sul fatto di quelli che neli ultimi tempi hanno razzolato ottiche R a prezzi ridicoli, che non potranno usare sulla digitale.

ieri ho ricominciato con l'arrivo della R4s Mod.2 Wetzlar

oggi è arrivato il Summicron 50

ora con due soldi mi compro il 35 il 90 ed il 180.
il 19 II° tipo lo sto già usando.

Per una full-frame M o si "suggerisce" di non usare i vecchi wide o devono aver fatto dei bei salti mortali con le lenti condensatrici anteposte al sensore...

Per quanto riguarda le ottiche R "vecchie", vorrà dire che continuerò ad usarle sulla EOS 5D, magari pagandole molto meno quando le trovo.

Io credo che Leica farà in modo che gli attuali obiettivi R possano essere ancora utilizzabili (ovviamente con con inevitabili limitazioni)
Non credo che l'incompatibilità tra gli attacchi gioverebbe economicamente quando l'accoppiamento è consentito con successo su corpi Canon sicuramente più economici e innovativi.
Il mercato professionale non parla più Leica da un bel pezzo ed il fotoamatore solitamente acquista il nuovo piazzando il vecchio e cambia più facilmente la macchina che l'obiettivo.
E poi... se Canon nel passaggio da FD a EOS lasciò per un periodo i propri acquirenti senza un adeguata disponibilità e varietà di lenti autofocus lasciando il mercato a Nikon e Minolta, quanto tempo ci metterebbero in Leica a rendere disponibile un adeguato parco ottiche conoscendo la loro proverbiale lentezza? (si pensi al Digita Modul R).
